Should Voting Rights be filtered in India?

Last day I met a great fan of Swami who spoke so high about him to me. I do agree to a lot of his points but sometimes I feel he should widen his perception according to the moving world. World has developed so much beyond religious beliefs and tradition soaring its wings to higher altitudes through scientific development stretching its limits to infinity.
But one side of my brain keeps reminding me about how badly should India be reminded of its rights?  How badly does India need someone who has real experiences in the sufferings of India and who sticks to the honesty part more than the fame or intention of creating a controversy.
Leniency has pushed India down the cadre of development despite of its capabilities and success, A best example : New York times cartoon published on India`s mars mission. How far will India entertain the rights and freedom to utilize her resources for the growth of those who neither agree nor is proud to be an Indian?

Discussions about Subrahmanian Swamy`s request to the Election Commission of India regarding linking of voting rights with religious ancestry (about quarter of a decade+ ago) still keep selling like hot cup cakes in all tea stalls.

India is a democratic country but for the growth of its economy, The country needs an identity- its identity!
Voting right is the first step I believe.

Voting Rights:-
In most countries, the right to vote is reserved to those who possess the citizenship of the country in question. Some countries, however, have extended suffrage rights to non-citizens. Suffrage rights extended to non-citizens are often restricted or limited in some ways, with the details of the restrictions or limitations varying from one country to another.

During the partition of India in 1947, oh Wait.. why did this partition happen?
Jinnah, (the then leader of Muslim community) while requesting for a new country gave this reason that his people could not live with the Indians (Hindustanis) because they were a motley crew of discontents and zealots.

So yes a great big country was torn apart for saving the pride and freedom of religions. Honestly can you imagine in your wildest dreams about any other country which would do this sacrifice?
History proves us the background of each religions which these religions themselves don't deny.
India is referred to as 'Bharat Maa' that explains the respect and love of ones own country by relating it to motherhood. Indians never stole anybody`s rights, India always embraced and welcomed its guests but they all looted India`s wealth and exploited her.
After all India was invaded by five different countries say, Turkey,Afghanistan, Portuguese, France and British. These invaders have influenced the country in various manner that it has also altered India`s gene pool, Belief, Culture as well as traditions to an extent. Finding the roots and operating on the bark of a deep rooted tree (family trees) will just end up ruining its fruits. (Human assets) So it would be better if we avoid religious partition and religion ancestry while deciding the voting rights.

As a whole the point I am saying is, India needs to stop being a host who protects the pride of a guest and should start giving priority to her family soon before she loses them.

P.S :- In my opinion Indian citizenship should be made more legitimate. True Indians (Roots from Indian soil) should be prioritized and not categorized in such a way that offends other religious beliefs.

*Please note that I mentioned 'other religions' to those religions which doesn't have its historical proofs of birth in India.

Before concluding I just want to bring into your notice another interesting thing:-

Conversations always get viral on "Muslim" issue not only in this country but all over the world, strange isn't?
Aren't there other minorities in India? Then why does media gets defensive when a Muslim is concerned. media is not worried about Christians, Buddhist, Jainism, Judaism Zoroastrian, Sikhism etc neither are we, but why always Muslims?
It proves our India is a (so called) secular country that it is always concerned about one particular religion that is Muslim. Let everybody disintegrate for all that matter is 'Muslim's pride', that too shown by challenging a Hindu by another Hindu.Brilliant scheme!
We know there were large number of Hindu's who stayed back in Pakistan & Bangladesh after partition and now presently there are few Pakistani, Bangladeshi, even afghan Hindus. We believe they don't have any problem calling themselves Pakistani, Bangladeshi or afghan Hindus. But can we consider them as Indians just because they are Hindus?
Does Pakistani,Bangladeshi or afghan media gets defensive when those Hindus are concerned in their country just because Hindus are minorities over there??
Is there ever a debate in Pakistan regarding any 'Hindu Issue'?

God Bless in India to live with Unity in Diversity, Harmony and Peace!
