Happy Birthday John Keats!

A thing of beauty is a joy forever:
Its loveliness increases;
It will never
Pass into nothingness.

On 31st of October in 1975 a legend was born in Moorgate, London.
I first came across this amazing English Romantic poet in my second year of high school when we had "Ode on a Grecian Urn" in our syllabus. I gradually found interest in his poems among which 'Ode to a nightingale' is my favorite and as many frenzied literary addicts I too had a crush on him until I read his letters & works that mentioned Fanny Brawne and their relationship without commitments. I once happened to hear my friend discussing about doppelganger deaths of English poets in the eighteenth century, John Keats was one among them- this lead me to research more about him, his life style and his death. I always had a sympathy for him because he died at a very young age of twenty five. The more I read his literary works, the more I lived through his life. He had to struggle himself to stay away from debts yet he dropped his medical profession to do what he loves in life, to write poetry. His first extant poem was written in 1814, "An imitation of Spencer" when he was just 19 yrs old. There are areas of his life and daily routine that Keats does not describe. He mentions little about his childhood or his financial straits and is seemingly embarrassed to discuss them. There is a total absence of any reference to his parents. In his last year, as his health deteriorated, his concerns often gave way to despair and morbid obsessions which obviously lead to many criticisms.

He published only fifty-four poems but took on the sonnet, the Spenserian romance, and the Milton epic. He redefined their possibilities with his energy. Conflicting perspectives and forces, poetic self-consciousness and dry ironic wit. He took the English ode to its most perfect definition. Though his works weren't appreciated when he was alive. It gained lot of attention after his death.

John Keats died in Rome on 23 February 1821 and was buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Rome. His last request was to be placed under a tombstone bearing no name or date, only the words, "Here lies One whose Name was writ in Water." His last words to Severn who nursed him at deathbed was 'Severn—I—lift me up—I am dying—I shall die easy; don't be frightened—be firm, and thank God it has come.' I always wondered how come people knew it was time for them to depart? And Keats have reflected his doppelganger experiences in his works during the weeks before his death. Death is a mystery. Lot of artistic men seem to have doppelganger episodes before they all ended up dead. Is that a mystery to unfold or the creative part of brain playing its final game?

Shelley wrote a despairing elegy, stating that Keats' early death was a personal and public tragedy:
'The loveliest and the last,
The bloom, whose petals nipped before they blew
Died on the promise of the fruit.'
As Keats always said "if poetry comes not as naturally as the Leaves to a tree it had better not come at all". But it was quite evident that his initial works were all an amateur attempts and he had to try hard to enhance his poetic skills. This criticism about Keats had influenced me not to publish my first Novel. I don't know if that was a good decision or not but I was quite sure that I didn't want readers to judge my capability since I was just 16 when I wrote my first novel. I knew I need more exposure to life and experiences to be a better writer.
Let me mention few of my favorite explanations Keats gave for the phrases he used. Keats explored the idea of the world as "the vale of Soul-making" And he described The poetical mind as,
has no self – it is every thing and nothing – It has no character – it enjoys light and shade;... What shocks the virtuous philosopher, delights the camelion [chameleon] Poet. It does no harm from its relish of the dark side of things any more than from its taste for the bright one; because they both end in speculation. A Poet is the most unpoetical of any thing in existence; because he has no Identity – he is continually in for – and filling some other Body – The Sun, the Moon, the Sea and Men and Women who are creatures of impulse are poetical and have about them an unchangeable attribute – the poet has none; no identity – he is certainly the most unpoetical of all God's Creatures.
He used the term 'negative capability' to discuss the state in which we are "capable of being in uncertainties, Mysteries, doubts without any irritable reaching after fact & reason ...[Being] content with half knowledge" where one trusts in the heart's perceptions. He later wrote: "I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the Heart's affections and the truth of Imagination – What the imagination seizes as Beauty must be truth – whether it existed before or not – for I have the same Idea of all our Passions as of Love they are all in their sublime, creative of essential Beauty"
His reply to the question of 'How it feels to be a poet' is "My Imagination is a Monastery and I am its Monk"
The Seven Best John Keats Quotes
  1. The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by sceptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were.
  2. I want a brighter word than bright.
  3. We read fine things but never feel them to the full until we have gone the same steps as the author.
  4. Here lies one whose name was writ in water.
  5. If poetry comes not as naturally as the leaves to a tree it had better not come at all.
  6. You speak of Lord Byron and me; there is this great difference between us. He describes what he sees I describe what I imagine. Mine is the hardest task.
  7. If I should die, I have left no immortal work behind me — nothing to make my friends proud of my memory — but I have loved the principle of beauty in all things, and if I had had time I would have made myself remembered.

Pity You- The Moral Police in Kerala

Yesterday I saw a post in one of the groups I belong to on Facebook. The group is supposed to be for a cause of sharing knowledge on spiritual base. But I found a cheap post in which a man was opposing a woman who had posted a status on her fb wall against 'sadachara police' of Kerala.

Three things I will be talking about are, the episode that happened in Calicut, the stupidity of moral police in Kerala and about Jisha Elizabeth`s post in fb. Let me start by telling you what is the incident on which the whole news is revolving around.

The episode took place at a renowned cafe 'Downtown' at Calicut in Kerala rated 4.5/5 on TripAdviser. One of the malayalam channels namely 'Jaihind TV' covered a footage of a couple smooching at the cafe, using a hidden camera. Within a couple of hours of airing the video in the channel some people claiming themselves to be moral police came and destroyed the cafe. They also asked Police to file a case against the shop owner. The same day by evening people of Calicut expressed their sincerity and support towards the shop by turning up at the shop. The whole area on P.T.Usha road was jam-packed with the cafe fandom after the shop was attacked.

Now what is the whole point of creating a big scene and drama out of this? Reminding you the Article 19 of Indian constitution, Expressing affection is not a problem anywhere in the world until it affects a third person. Please tell me in what way you-'sadachara policemen' felt offended?
I feel its pure jealousy and nothing else!
Or maybe you are feeling insecure about your children!
Trust the way you have brought up your children, people. If you have put seeds of your culture and tradition in them they wont be shaken at any point of time. I have a question, do these moral police get offended only when they see youngsters expressing affection? because I never saw anybody reacting so much when a girl faced embarrassment in a crowd in the same city when her chudi fell down and she couldn't tie it back as she was holding an infant in her arms, these men stood and enjoyed the scene instead of helping the woman save her shame, or when somebody is abused in the public which is a common scene in Kerala and they forget their own morals when they return home drunk at night to misbehave with their wives. First prove through your actions that you are worth enough to react in such situations. Its so cheap of malayalis to react for unreasonable things around them. Say for an example when Saddam Hussain was killed in Iraq, People in Kerala called for a strike. How ridiculous, isn't?
whats the whole point? Is it Show off, media or Fame? What do you people want?

From this picture, it is very evident that it was a non-malayali couple. Culture is what men created and many just follow without knowing what for or why they follow it. It is not necessary that a foreigner coming to our native should follow our traditions and customs. Either be open to welcome them as they are or just stop them from entering your territory. You cant force someone to obey those rules and regulations you formed!  Come on guys It is a cafe not an institution to say they are breaking rules!

Now Jisha Elizabeth`s post in fb (translation in my words) says that,
She isn't kissing her boyfriend in public just because she is shy and not because she doesn't want to. She would have called these Moral police and kissed her boyfriend in front of them to test the strength of their backbone, Just like these moral police calling media in advance and then playing a whole drama as in real. The second half of her post she criticizes those people who praise the leelavilasams (playfulness) of Lord Sree Krishna who played romantic games and kissed his 10000+ Cow herd girls who were his devotees. (Gopika) And the same people consider these public display of affection by the commoners in cafe as dirty deeds.

It is her wish to post what she wants on her facebook wall. You peep into her profile and found this post wild enough to make accusations and speak nonsense among your friends. How cheap? Are you so jobless or Is it that you want attention? Or may be let me put it this way "There are some who are motivated by abusive handles and are eager to abuse women`s posts" If you felt offended by her post for any reason keep it to yourself. Okay a little more further you may share your views with your friends. But one fellow uploaded few pics of Jisha (taken from her profile itself) in the group which consists of 30k+ people. He wasn't the one who felt offended about the status. Probably this fellow was just trying to show others that he can steal any locked pictures from a girl`s profile. Smart or Stupid?? I asked this person to explain to me the reason why he had uploaded the girl`s picture without any caption or reason told. Poor chap he doesn't realize that its a cyber crime to share a girl`s photo and make vulgar comments on it. By evening when I opened the group, My jaws fell open to see the comments on her photo. Some of the comments were
*"She has a face like Dogshit burnt"
*"Is she a sister of Shoorpanaka? She belongs to Asura Varga and may be her bf is from Rakshasa varga"
*"A woman churned out for kissing"
*"Girl who opened her curls to be kissed"
*"Who would ever want to kiss her, face like a crowshit"
*"daughter of a whore"
*She is a Maoist"
*"Do you want to kiss any lovers or any men walking down the street?"
*"Seeing her face itself I understood whats her disease. Some one should have lot of guts to kiss this shitty face"
*"She should have been born for a single father."
"Is she so desperate?"
"If you wanna sleep around go ahead you bitch, born for a dog"
*"Poor cry of an AIDS patient"
*"Dont make this bitch born for a neighbour famous."
*"show your desperateness on a bed not on the middle of a road, If you still dont get anybody try with animals"

I think this is enough to give you people a glimpse of what nonsense is happening in that lowly group, which again I realized just after this post. If you like to check out yourself then click here .To those men who commented on her,I honestly want to zip my mouth because I am still searching for words to reply.Since others aren't so cheap to stoop to your levels far below It is kind of difficult for us to tell you how worse you are as human beings to tear open a simple matter and dig it till the infinite to just leave yourself so stinky. Just think twice before you speak about somebody`s looks! Looks are always powerful but looks are always superficial! Why do you people say worse things about her parents or her up-
bringing? She is being called a slut because she spoke against some fake-moral, attention-seekers??

You know what, There was a similar incident which again happened in Kerala where a man who tried to help a woman by giving lift till her home who had no choice of making a call or had no conveyance to reach home on that night due to rain. On the way so called 'sadachara police' or Moral Police stopped their vehicle and questioned them making it a big issue ending up at Police station. The man eventually had to face a divorce and the woman involved lost her morality. Do they deserve all this? She was being a good girl by trying to reach home before late and the man was trying to help the woman by not letting her stay at an unsafe place like railway station till dawn. They were total strangers but traveled in the same train everyday.

Now this is why I hate Moral Police. They are a group of jobless people in the name of culture destroying life of others who carries a gentle and decent living. If you really care about your culture start from your own home!

Honestly Am not supporting her word by word. I agree that she is wrong when she spoke about Lord Krishna since those 'leelavilasam' are stories not from Bhagavat Geetha or Bhagavatham (two major Hindu scriptures) but from a poet`s artistic work of 'Jayadeva Geetha Govindam' as well as 'Bramha Puranam' So Sree Krishna`s love life is not spoken about in Holy Scriptures. Myself being a staunch believer of Hinduism I felt offended by her remark on Lord Sri Krishna. But as we all know, Sri Krishna is known as the Lord of Love in Hindu mythology and so we can neither deny nor accept if someone make a comment about it. Else wise I totally support her freedom of expression against 'Yuvamorcha Sangam' or the 'Sadachara Police'. And now I insist you to check this link (Click here) to see yourself the truth behind fabricated news of Jaihind TV about this incident. How sad of television media being pure yellow journalism!

P.S:- Nobody is trying to insult Indian culture or corrupt it. Every individual has their choice to follow what they want. Indian Constitution Article 19,20,21 and 22 provides its citizens Freedom of Speech and Expression.

The Final Game

I had had this write-up playing in my draft folder for a week now.. I still don’t know how to come about the point I want to make. My subject this time is a little serious for which everybody has different views, of course every individual varies in their point of view about a single thing itself but when it comes to the ‘Game’ nobody has a proper remark about it.

Certain games are fatal, Its funny when we are forced to play games especially when the game has no rules & one referee who has the complete control over the results no matter how well you try to play the game. 'Death' is the game am talking about here. Its obvious that once you are born on earth , you have to face death at some point of time. But what if the time is too soon that you just realized the purpose of your existence.

There are many atheist who mocks at people who believe the existence  of an eternal energy but all those men when they face the near extinction of their human essence, is left with no other choice. Hospital walls have heard more prayers than a church. That moment when you are left with no other hope and the only string to catch on is God. Faith happens.

But okay I understand when the worst happens to bad people as they are forced to face that situation as a punishment for their 'karma' but what about those good people who never did anything wrong by thought or deed. Do they deserve this torture? They had always believed in God, did the right things, have always been grateful for every breath of their life and yet they die a death which even Hitler doesn't deserve.

I have heard of cancer very much like a common word used in everyday life, I have also read many stories of cancer patients and so I understand the life they go through with this deadly disease. But trust me it wasn't the same when I had my own friend holding my hands and speaking with her eyes wet about her own death. Jeez!!
I cannot even think of that situation, my hands are trembling when I type this. What did she do to suffer like this. She was an adorable sweetheart forever. She is too young to face such harsh circumstances in life. Oh my Goodness why does this happen? and please don't tell me its the 'munjanma karmaphala' (the result of your deeds in your previous birth) I cannot take that reason anymore.

I couldn't sleep properly since I heard that she is going through her final stages. It isn't simple as it seems to be. A girl of my age who has equally or more dreams and desires than me. Lot of things to achieve and suddenly you realize your countdown begins... and the to-do list shortens. I cant even think from her point of view. How can you live knowing that you wont be there for long on this planet.

People tend to lose their sleep thinking about the silly things they do. I myself was a person who used to complain for certain things that emptied a part of my life. I wonder why I even considered those crisis as complaints to God. He was just training me to be more bold. Actually those crisis only made me the person who I am today. There are certain turning points in our life. I have encountered many such situations, which I thought would change me forever but all those charcoals aren't anything near this situation I faced. A 'near death feeling'. The tremendous physical pain that make you confess all your sins before you die. I wish she wasn't suffering the pain at least after all that she has gone through.
Ever since then I have been so grateful to God for keeping me healthy and not putting me through such harsh circumstance of facing deaths of your beloved ones, all in a short span of time. Goodness Please be with her and lessen her burdens since she has always been a dear child of Yours.
Thank you God for your showers of blessings!

P.S : You never know the value of your eyes until you turn blind.

'HAIDER' Movie Review

The most awaited 'Dark Drama' directed and co-produced by Vishal Bhardwaj was released on Oct 2nd of 2014. I received a message on whatsapp from a friend asking someone to accompany her for the film 'Haider'. I had got a review by the time from another friend who went for the first day first show saying its too much of blood and violence, as a whole she didn't like the movie. And personaly I dont prefer much of action movies. So I had spread the word without realizing the gem among my other friends. So my friend who was desperately waiting for the movie release asked me "Don't you think it is so early to be judged?"

Yesterday I happened to watch this movie which is an amazing makeover of Shakespeare drama 'Hamlet'. I regret for misjudging the movie.I was so impressed and had no doubt about the actor`s tremendous homework behind the hero character 'Haider'. Other leading actors in the film Shradha, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon was also up to the mark. After all I have been a fan of K.K from the day I saw his movie 'Black Friday'.

Intelligent take on Kashmir issues using a barricade of an old Shakespeare play. Vishal is always different with his ideas and his way of promulgating it.
The story takes place in Kashmir and Kashmir is one of the most beautiful place; favourite location for bollywood filmmakers with its snow covered mountains and shikars, Vishal Bhardwaj nailed the idea as it also engulfed the political intrigue and history of Kashmir. Director is the one who brings out the best from an actor. That way Vishal is an expert and loves complicated stories which dig deeper into the grey characters.

I never thought Shahid could handle such 'veeryam'(Valour)  & 'Roudram'(raging flames of revenge and anger) though I have no doubt about his talent since he has already proved his acting skills through movies like 'Kaminey'. Anyways in this movie he is back with an entirely different avatar from his usual fun-loving self. The way he does the street play in the movie is astounding. Shahid going bald for the first time, along with his one-liners and Prabhu Deva-inspired dance moves are the other highlights to be noted.

There was a little violence which indirectly or directly conveys a lot. It was hard for me to see certain scenes though I feel it was essential to convey the level of torture encountered by the innocents of Kashmir.

The word 'Chutzpah' has become my favorite now. The whole movie can be described with one word 'Chutzpah'. Marvelous!

P.S 'Haider' is a poignant tale of love, revenge and relationships.

Know what you DON'T want to do!

People always advice us,"You should know what you want to do" But just step back and look at it once again. Knowing what you want to do?? How are you supposed to what is it that you want to do unless you realize what things you don't want do.

We always get into things that make us feel like "ohh..crap, I shouldn't have done it" which we personally mark as wrong moves to avoid those experiences happen again in our life. But have you ever noticed that these are the things that actually leads us to the correct path or the 'Right Move'.

'Failure is the stepping stone to Success' which means u got to pile up a heap of mistakes before u can reach success. So see, why do we ever feel so worried about your past or any misdeeds. Just accept it, its an experience, a chapter of your life.

'We don't meet people by accident they are meant to cross our path for a reason.' They either teach you a lesson, gives you an experience (experience is the best teacher) or leave behind a big memory that help you take a U-turn. Every meeting is charted and flagged by the Almighty above. So don't regret for having the people that made use of you, maybe they just wanted your help. Cheers! u helped them!

So these experience gives an idea of what you don't want. Be grateful for those contributors rather than hating them. At-least you won't step into pits again instead you know which hill to climb to reach your destinations despite of the vision blurred. Also on the way you learn how to withstand the dust storms.

Knowing what you don't want to do gradually leads you to know what you want to do.

Luka-Chuppi (Hide and Seek)

A beautiful song, one among my favorites. Its a beautiful composition by A.R.Rahman sung by himself and Veteran Lata Mangeshkar to the wonderful lyrics by Joshi. Joshi wrote the lyrics about the mother and son playing hide-and-seek with the sad reality of the son being hidden forever. The song video of 3.5minutes convey so much about life and that credit goes to Rakeysh Mehra the film`s Director as well as Aamir Khan.

See the video.

Luka Chuppi bahut huyi saamne aa ja naa
(Enough of hide and seek, come before me.)

Kahan kahan dhoondha tujhe
(I searched for you everywhere.)
Thak gayi hai ab teri maa
(Your mother is now tired.)
Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar
(Its evening and I'm worried about you)

Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar aa ja na
(Hazy is what my sight is, come to me)
Kya bataoon maa kahan hoon main.
(What do I tell you about the place where I am, maa?)
Yahan udney ko mere khula aasmaan hai
(There is freedom
and independence like the vast sky here.)
Tere kisson jaisa bhola salona
(Like your stories it is innocent and beautiful here)
Jahan hain yahan sapno vala
(Its like a dreamland here.)
Meri patang ho befikar udd rahi hai maa
(My kite (I am) is flying without any worries maa.)
Dor koi loote nahin beech se kaate na
(Nobody to steal or cut my kite's string.)

Teri raah takey aankhiyaan
(My eyes are waiting for your arrival.)
Jaane kaisa kaisa hoye jiyaa
(My heart is going through various emotions.)
Dhire dhire aangan uthre andhera, mera deep kahan
(Slowly darkness in creeping in the courtyard
, where is my lamp(son))
Dhalke suraj kare ishara chanda tu hai kahan
(The sun is setting and gesturing to the moon, where are you?)

Mere chanda tu hai kahan
(Where are you my moon (son)?)
Kaise tujhko dikhaun yahaan hai kya
(How do I show you what is here?)

Maine jharne se paani maa, tod ke piya hai
(I've drunk water from the fountain maa)

Guchcha guchcha kayee khwabon ka uchal ke chuwa hai
(I've touched several clusters of my dreams)

Chaaya liye bhali dhoop yahaan hai
(The sunlight along with the shade is here)

Naya naya sa hai roop yahan
(The atmosphere is so different and new)

Yahaan sab kuch hai maa phir bhi
(All that I want is here maa... but still...)

Lage bin tere mujhko akela
(Loneliness is what I feel here without you)
Mother opens her son`s military trunk box after his death.

Should Voting Rights be filtered in India?

Last day I met a great fan of Swami who spoke so high about him to me. I do agree to a lot of his points but sometimes I feel he should widen his perception according to the moving world. World has developed so much beyond religious beliefs and tradition soaring its wings to higher altitudes through scientific development stretching its limits to infinity.
But one side of my brain keeps reminding me about how badly should India be reminded of its rights?  How badly does India need someone who has real experiences in the sufferings of India and who sticks to the honesty part more than the fame or intention of creating a controversy.
Leniency has pushed India down the cadre of development despite of its capabilities and success, A best example : New York times cartoon published on India`s mars mission. How far will India entertain the rights and freedom to utilize her resources for the growth of those who neither agree nor is proud to be an Indian?

Discussions about Subrahmanian Swamy`s request to the Election Commission of India regarding linking of voting rights with religious ancestry (about quarter of a decade+ ago) still keep selling like hot cup cakes in all tea stalls.

India is a democratic country but for the growth of its economy, The country needs an identity- its identity!
Voting right is the first step I believe.

Voting Rights:-
In most countries, the right to vote is reserved to those who possess the citizenship of the country in question. Some countries, however, have extended suffrage rights to non-citizens. Suffrage rights extended to non-citizens are often restricted or limited in some ways, with the details of the restrictions or limitations varying from one country to another.

During the partition of India in 1947, oh Wait.. why did this partition happen?
Jinnah, (the then leader of Muslim community) while requesting for a new country gave this reason that his people could not live with the Indians (Hindustanis) because they were a motley crew of discontents and zealots.

So yes a great big country was torn apart for saving the pride and freedom of religions. Honestly can you imagine in your wildest dreams about any other country which would do this sacrifice?
History proves us the background of each religions which these religions themselves don't deny.
India is referred to as 'Bharat Maa' that explains the respect and love of ones own country by relating it to motherhood. Indians never stole anybody`s rights, India always embraced and welcomed its guests but they all looted India`s wealth and exploited her.
After all India was invaded by five different countries say, Turkey,Afghanistan, Portuguese, France and British. These invaders have influenced the country in various manner that it has also altered India`s gene pool, Belief, Culture as well as traditions to an extent. Finding the roots and operating on the bark of a deep rooted tree (family trees) will just end up ruining its fruits. (Human assets) So it would be better if we avoid religious partition and religion ancestry while deciding the voting rights.

As a whole the point I am saying is, India needs to stop being a host who protects the pride of a guest and should start giving priority to her family soon before she loses them.

P.S :- In my opinion Indian citizenship should be made more legitimate. True Indians (Roots from Indian soil) should be prioritized and not categorized in such a way that offends other religious beliefs.

*Please note that I mentioned 'other religions' to those religions which doesn't have its historical proofs of birth in India.

Before concluding I just want to bring into your notice another interesting thing:-

Conversations always get viral on "Muslim" issue not only in this country but all over the world, strange isn't?
Aren't there other minorities in India? Then why does media gets defensive when a Muslim is concerned. media is not worried about Christians, Buddhist, Jainism, Judaism Zoroastrian, Sikhism etc neither are we, but why always Muslims?
It proves our India is a (so called) secular country that it is always concerned about one particular religion that is Muslim. Let everybody disintegrate for all that matter is 'Muslim's pride', that too shown by challenging a Hindu by another Hindu.Brilliant scheme!
We know there were large number of Hindu's who stayed back in Pakistan & Bangladesh after partition and now presently there are few Pakistani, Bangladeshi, even afghan Hindus. We believe they don't have any problem calling themselves Pakistani, Bangladeshi or afghan Hindus. But can we consider them as Indians just because they are Hindus?
Does Pakistani,Bangladeshi or afghan media gets defensive when those Hindus are concerned in their country just because Hindus are minorities over there??
Is there ever a debate in Pakistan regarding any 'Hindu Issue'?

God Bless in India to live with Unity in Diversity, Harmony and Peace!

Ultimate reality of Feminism

Feminists want two things to be true for all people, regardless of gender:
Social, Legal, and Economic Equality,
Personal Autonomy

There are a lot of things that fall under both of these headings, and a lot of different ideas about how to achieve these goals, which issues are most important, what the sub-issues are, etc. However, they can all pretty much be summed up in those two lines.

The win conditions would be a world you would barely recognize...one in which all people are able to pursue their passions, develop their talents, express themselves, and live their lives without regard to gender-based roles, stereotypes, dangers, or limitations.

Intellect vs Instinct

I have come across so many people who asks me "Instinct?? Seriously does something like that exist?"

I have my very close friends to whom I explain the wonders that happen in my life- about how the  universe helps me get things done. But they find it hard to believe even if they are amazed upon the things that happen to me.

I do believe in instincts and many of my friends don't believe in 'instincts'. I know its hard for the educated community to accept or understand the mysteries of universe. Certain things cannot be explained, It can only be felt. I tried to help many of them to listen to their inner voices, Few of them who believed, started trusting their instincts which showed magics in their lives but many of them even if they understood the phenomenon, they just don't want to accept it because they fear that the society would call them 'superstitious'. Those people think that if they discard many things as superstitions and stand against it then they belong to the 'intelligent' category. But poor humans they don't realize that they are actually being categorized into hypocrites.

And then there is this category who believe in science- I do truly belong to such a category.
And what is science?
science explores and makes available facts about the universe - "universal experience" in a sense that we're all subject to experiencing them, while arts attempt to exposing to everyone ("make universal") those special facts that normally are only available to a particular person

Every phenomenon in the world was an art before it became science.

Scientist takes an undefined phenomenon and research upon it for years finding reasons, history, definitions and above all proofs (evidence of existence)
Well, then they come to existence under the category of science.
So there are certain things that can be explained only with time. Now they may seem superstitious but science growing day by day will find answers for each mystery one by one. Hence never discard those things that you know exist but has no proof.

I guess I spoke so much about science right now, So back to instincts-
I would suggest you people who are interested to know more about instincts to read the book 'Instinct' by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Trust me you wont regret spending time on that book. He explains instinct very easily in casual language with simple examples from daily life.

Let me give an example from his book:
Once when Bishop went on a safari in South Africa he had an experience. There was two men in his jeep- one was a zoologist and the other was the zookeeper. The zoologist kept explaining him everything about animals- The elephant- its habitat, the environment, its mating practices and many other intricate details then to the formation of their teeth. The problem was he could explain about them but couldn't find them. Finally as they went on, the zoo keeper who was silent during the whole conversation and trip till then suddenly said, "The elephant is there."
All of a sudden Bishop realized the difference between intelligence and intellect.

Whole of your life your intelligence can explain to you what you want and what you like but only your instinct can tell you what you will be! The more you trust your instincts the more likely magics occur in your own life. Listen to your inner voice before you take each small step in life which can be a giant leap.

P.S:-    *Intellect can explain it,
            but Instinct can find it.

*Intelligence hold the gun but instinct can only pull the Trigger.

Roja- A symbol of dignity

I was just wondering today while having my evening coffee, I haven`t been doing so much so late. Life has been more self oriented, focus has been only on me unlike before. I sat down and looked out of my window to see a silent street- My street is always supposed to be busy and noisy with children playing around, men standing on their bikes discussing sports, women gossiping and people on walk. Today, may be because its a Sunday the streets were empty, a grave silence filled the whole area.I saw only this 'flower vendor' sitting there alone and idle. (Daily on my way back from evening walk, I cross this lady who sells flowers- Her jasmine is always special with its strong pleasant smell and freshness. I acknowledge her with a smile noting my attendance everyday) I thought of going over to her and having a small chat.

So I made a cup of coffee for her and went down, she was so happy and excited when I told her I came down just to talk to her, she gave me a big reception and a stool to sit. I stretched my hand to lend her the cup, I could see her happiness in the eyes. She smiled at me and said its the first time someone had made coffee for her. I asked her who all were there at home, She sipped her coffee and spoke in a soft tone.
"I live by myself, no family. I ran away from home when I was 8 due to my aunt`s torture."
I went to her just to give her a company for a while since it was a lonely day for her I suppose.
I wasn't expecting her to open up suddenly to me, neither did I expect a tragic story. I thought she might tell me about her kids and may be maximum a drunkard husband. she maintained the silence, I had to break it- I asked her "Are you not married?"
she looked into my eyes and I could read a different expression which made me want to take back the question I had asked her. She replied "who will want to marry a woman with nothing except flowers that bloom everyday just to help her satisfy her hunger!?"
Before I could ask her anything,
She continued, "I was a fool who fell for men`s trap many a times until I realized they are flesh eating animals who just need a woman to satisfy his lust"
"I was at Madurai till I was 35 yrs and moved to Chennai to escape from the tag they were pushing me into -a whore"
I felt so bad for her. "I have my principles in life that I don't want to give up under any circumstance. I cant live without dignity even in poverty"
I took her hands in mine and pressed them as a gesture of support. I felt so proud of her that she was a woman of dignity.
I wanted to change the topic when she suddenly started again, "I found this means of earning myself to fight poverty, I pluck flowers from house gardens and was shooed away many a times but later sold it to get money for tea, now that I sell garlands and at least get enough for my meals thrice a day"
I asked her "Over these years nobody gave you a job even as a domestic help?" I asked so since she has been here for the past so many years, same street ,same job. So its obvious that people around knows her well.
She said "Darling, I am a known transgender in this locality. Nobody would like me helping at their household but they need me every time to bless for anything auspicious at their house."
I never knew she was a transgender, she has always been a bold and beautiful lady.
So I asked her why isn't she moving to a place near temples or on main roads where she can have more business. But since she has to pay rent for that again or get a place near temples on yearly auction, It was tough for her. She didn't go to the roads because she said she has to be loyal to those people who come in search of her. I was amazed at her sincerity.
She said, "After all I have no liabilities. I need to make enough everyday only to feed myself."

I was wondering in my mind People don't respect or consider transgenders even on humanitarian grounds when they are in need but shamelessly come to them for blessing when they buy a new car or when a baby is born.
This lady who prefers to call herself 'Roja' whirled my thoughts today to think about why do we feel attached to worldly pleasures. Life is after all about how you live. She made me realize how lucky I am in many ways. Even in her poverty she was adamant to keep up her dignity.

Back to Seattle Grace!

I know it might seem silly if I say that a particular TV series has turn out to be a kind of family for me. Since you might be expecting the same from every girl you know. Girls are experts in dis-functional emotional attachments.

I hail from a sate in India which is very famous for their TV-serial addictions. They get too emotional for these characters and involved in the story that sometimes it influences their daily lives and personal behavior (the best example I can give is my own granny). hmm... I cant complain because certain literary characters have the same effect on me too. But what is ridiculous is that some stupids commit suicide after their favorite character in the serials have met with death.

I used to watch Grey`s Anatomy (- An American medical drama series) and
  I finished till season 9.
Well, I had to drop in on the way since I felt am a mini doctor already. I can answer more medical questions than economics which is my major at the university. Slowly I came out of Grey`s life.
Though I wasn't really addicted to the serial.

One year passed by, Lot of things happened in the mean time. Life made me busy that I didn't have much time to spend on watching videos or on social networks. One year has made me more mature I suppose that made me realize spending time on TV-series should be considered silly.

Today 4th of October... -third day of my long weekend, I was quite bored and as they say "An idle mind is an evil`s workshop" I started thinking so much. I missed my family who stay miles away from me in a total different country. I miss my homie food and everything one could think of about home (cozy blanket..your bed, your room and everything in it). Exams coming up and no means of entertainment is feeling good enough for me. OKAY! so I surfed network on political journalism which is my another interest . Suddenly saw this season 11 of Grey`s Anatomy advertisement ...just clicked on it and an episode popped up... I continued to watch, Ohh I saw those familiar faces after a long time. I felt so happy to see how much they have changed in looks as well as attitude, I was eager to know how are the others (characters) doing.. Then it struck me-- why am I so excited as if some good old friends have come home after a long time and am eager to know whats happening with their lives. Stupid silly me... I smiled at myself.

The fact is these kind of serials which has a regular and consistent role in our everyday life consuming an hour or so turning out to be a routine has a psychic effect on us. Many said the same lines to me in the past but I never paid ears as I felt that they were misjudging me. I believed myself I wasn't addicted, infact I wasn't addicted and that is the reason I could stop watching it randomly.
But now I realize my subconscious part of brain had an inclination and attachment towards these characters. I used to feel happy when I come across people who knew these characters personally like I do and so they can hook up with me for longer chats. sigh!

Today I feel relaxed and homely as I met my old friends (Doctors at Seattle Grace hospital) they make me feel like a family. Sounds cliche or crazy???

Docs can get the feeling if I say I feel happy to be back at the hospital with my coat and gloves on, lots of cases around and my patients expecting empathy instead of sympathy.
Have a nice Sunday ahead guys!

Animals, not an 'entertainment' creature

Well, am not a animal person yet I feel bad when people accuse the wild cat for the attack at Delhi Zoo on Sept. 24 . The incident where a 19 yr old boy Masqood, fell 18 feet into a dry moat in the tigers` enclosure. Social media is pumped with various theories about the reasons behind tiger`s attack by those who saw the video which went viral online.

This wild cat who is named as 'Vijay' by the zoo officials was born in the same zoo in 2007 and was brought up in Delhi zoo itself, so easily understood that he was not taught by his mother and his ethics are purely from his instincts.

FACTS
*Animals that has their needs fulfilled behave entirely well mannered and well matured making us astonished with their behavior. (ex. Lion adopts antelope etc)
*Tiger is one of the territory animals. (So the boy was literally an intruder.)

"Stones were thrown at it" said Bittu, who filmed the incident on his cell phone.

Some say that Tiger attacked the boy after being provoked (stones were thrown at him). Its evident from the video that Vijay was staring at the boy who entered his territory and had no intentions of hurting him. I have no comments regarding the animal instinct, still- In the video Vijay roars at the crowd above before getting hold of the boy.

Latest news says that in the forensic report there is no other wound on the boy`s body except that on his neck. So apparently the tiger was saving the boy from the pelting. Tigers generally catch their cubs on neck to save them from threat.(Tiger cubs have extra thick fur and skin on their neck) So that can be a natural reason to justify the tiger getting hold of the guy`s neck and taking him away from the public. Unfortunately his teeth wounded the guy and bled him to death.
In my opinion Masqood is guilty for jumping into the moat and zoo officials cant be blamed for poor restrictions but they should be blamed for leaving the boy unattended so long which can be a cause of his death too.The boy was lying on the spot for long until the officials could scare the tiger to its cage.

P.S Animals should be let free, they aren't entertainment beings for humans. They don't belong to zoos but the nature (Jungle)
