When Hearts Go West

Heart's a kind of pear,
Thou hast made it a spear.

Chit chats when heart's empty,
Phone calls when heart's dumpy.

Yet thou forgot thy bestie,
When thou mingled with Westie.

Thou gave thy heart to a buck,
A little triggy won by luck.

Alter ego meant naught,
Anon, belike to depart.

Now thou wish to be asunder,
Pals who knew each other to wander.

Thou dared the ton of stones,
But never shalt thou win the waves.
